My goodness - such a pretty and eye-catching hat!
The lightweight 6" buntal base has been layered with Wedgewood Blue silk, laid over with delicate Ivory floral lace wich has been accented with Blue Swarovski crystals. Highlighting one edge are a series of Sky Blue sinamay twists that have been trimmed with layers of florets from the ivory lace. Dancing between the twists is a flurry of gently bobbing curled ostrich feathers to give the piece gentle movement. This hat is extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear, it has been fitted with a metal comb and millinery elastic to keep it feeling secure all day.
This hat is perfect for a Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom as it has presence in the photographs without being too intrusive when greeting your guests. It could also be a lovely choice for a trip to the races for Ladies Day at Royal Ascot or Glorious Goodwood.
