How To Buy
Every hat in my Ready To Wear Shop is UNIQUE and is the actual item available for sale. To buy, please telephone 07968 337446. I can either send your purchase to you by courier, or you can visit my studio in Winchester to try it on and take it away with you that day.
Please Note that every hat for sale in my Ready to Wear Hat Shop is unique and is the actual hat that you are looking to buy. I have photographed each of them on the same mannequin head (size 21" or 53cm - SMALL), to give you a reference of scale when comparing one hat from another. All sizes given are approximate.
I take great effort to show the most accurate colours of each piece in the photographs and try to give a realistic description in the text. However, different viewing platforms are calibrated to different hues, and what looks true on my screen, might not look the same on yours. Therefore, I do accept notifications of returns within 2 days of receipt if the hat turns out to be unsuitable, providing that it has not been worn or damaged and that the swing ticket is still attached.
Terms & Conditions
Your purchase will be packaged and ready to courier to you in two working days. I will email the confirmation of your purchase first, then I will contact you again when you parcel is on its way to you and I will include tracking information with this second email. I use either DPD or Royal Mail to deliver your hat - please note that P&P is Free of Charge to deliver your hat to you.
The delivery is a 48 hour (2 working days) ’signed for' courier service.
I carefully pack each hat in an appropriately sized box, using plenty of acid-free tissue paper to protect it as much as possible whilst it is in transit. The hatbox itself is then dispatched in a double-walled carton that fits the hatbox exactly. This will protect your hat whilst it is being couriered to you.
I am sorry to say that I can only accept orders from and dispatch to UK addresses.
Please inspect your hat within two days of receipt and notify me immediately by email or telephone if you see that there has been any damage, shortage, defect or deficiency of the order supplied. I will then be able to discuss the possible remedies for the situation with you.
Please return any damaged or defective goods, unworn with the swing ticket still attached, in their original packaging within seven days of receipt and I will make good as soon as it is reasonable to do so. I will reimburse you reasonable costs for the return of the goods, but shall otherwise be under no liability whatsoever arising from such damage, shortage, defect or deficiency.
If you decide that your purchase is not suitable, I accept returns on the following basis: Please may I ask you to make contact with me by email or telephone within 2 days of receiving your goods to notify me that you are returning an item. Hats must be returned in their original packaging, tags attached, and with no signs of use/damage. Returns will be refunded within two working days. I’m sorry that I don’t offer exchanges.
Please Note: No returns or refunds for sale/discounted items.
If you choose to return an item for a refund because you have changed your mind about your purchase, this is done at your own expense - unless an item is found to be damaged or faulty once you've received it. Owing to the delicacy and value of these hats, I recommend that returns are couriered back to me by using a 'signed for' service.
