The lightweight 6" buntal base has been layered with Wedgewood Blue silk and laid over with delicate Ivory floral lace, accented with Blue Swarovski crystals. Highlighting one edge are a series of Sky Blue sinamay twists trimmed with florets from the ivory lace. Dancing between them is a flurry of gently bobbing curled ostrich feathers, adding graceful movement. Fitted with a metal comb and millinery elastic, the hat is extremely lightweight and stays comfortably secure all day.
This hat is perfect for a Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom - it has presence in photographs without being intrusive when greeting guests. It would also be a lovely choice for Ladies Day at Royal Ascot or Glorious Goodwood.
